I was in Yosemite Valley watching a storm in the near distance with lightning strikes hitting on Glacier Point and Half Dome. Since it is 16 miles up to Glacier Point, I decided to head up there, hoping the storm would have moved on by the time I arrived. I was in luck! As you can see, the storm had cleared and was moving off to the northwest. The storm cleaned the air so you can see mountains in the distance that are 20 to 25 miles away in this panoramic photograph.
